Living with Anthrax
National Geographic Television & Film's LIVING WITH ANTHRAX journeys to two distant continents - North America and Africa - to meet two mothers facing the threat of anthrax in very different ways. In October 2001, NBC correspondent Sara James was caught up in the anthrax scare in New York when a colleague tested positive. Fearful for her daughter's safety, Sara turned to her childhood friend, Ginger Mauney, a filmmaker who works with National Geographic and lives in Etosha National Park in Namibia - a place some call the 'anthrax capital of the world.'
