Leopard Foibles

Leopards spend much of their time in trees because other big cats will kill them and hyenas and other wild dogs will steal their killed prey. Shows a leopard in Mala Mala Game Reserve as it struggles to have a meal. The leopard falls from a tree as it drags an impala carcass and a hyena steals the carcass. The leopard kills another impala only to become engaged in a tug of war with another hyena over the carcass. A lioness scares away the hyena and follows the leopard up the tree, but the lioness soon realizes that she is too heavy to follow the leopard out onto the branches and retreats, thus leaving the leopard to enjoy its meal.
