Assignment: Blue Nile
Shrouded in myth, the Blue Nile is one of Africa's greatest rivers. From its source in the Ethiopian highlands, the Blue Nile plunges a vertical mile in its 840 mile course to the plains of Sudan, carving out one of the most rugged and beautiful watercourses in the world. We follow Nevada Weir and a crew of five as they tackle an unprecedented, extremely remote and dangerous journey, rafting the cascading whitewater and following an uncharted land route on a continuous, un-interrupted expedition.
