America's Last Red Wolves
National Geographic follows in the footsteps of a pioneering pack of red wolves reintroduced to the wilds of North Carolina - the Milltail Pack. Because so little is known about the red wolf in the wild, the species was virtually exterminated before anyone thought to study it.
